This is a list of basic help pages for software. These pages should give:

• just enough help to get you started using the software
• location of the full documentation
• differences specific to the MMAE system relevant to this software
• general notes by local users about the software that are difficult to find or not otherwise in the full documentation

To create a new page for a software package:

• use this trivial form
• or use this url for your browser's search: http://newton.i2lab.ucf.edu/wiki?title=help:%s&preload=Template:sw&action=edit

or

1. Type Help:Package name in the search box and press GO
2. Click on create an article with this title
3. To add the template, type in the edit box {{subst:software}} and click Save page
4. Click edit at the top and fill in the template and save again.

If this is too complicated, just follow the first two steps to create the article and just put in what you know (or what you wanted to know), and someone else will clean it up.
